It is with great enthusiasm that I write that the "Singularity" Camp is wrapped!  It was so much fun, and the Rock Band Wrap Party was priceless!  I can say without a doubt that I speak for the whole Dawnrunner crew, and everyone involved in the project - We cannot wait for next year.  The new script is already in development!  This year was a great pilot to the project, and we are happy to be proceeding with our relationship with Starting Arts.  We all feel that their work is profoundly needed, and we appreciate being able to offer one more small angle to their already extensive menu of Children's Art Programs.  If you haven't already, swing by their website and see how they are working so diligently to bring the Arts back to Northern California School Districts!  www.startingarts.com  As for Dawnrunner, we get back to work on the post production side of the film and are anxiously awaiting the premiere!  We look forward to seeing you there!

You heard correctly!  The Singularity Summer Film Camp is all wrapped up!  Tomorrow is the official last day of the camp, and it's been a blast!  The website will get a make-over with all the new photos from the camp, information on the cast and crew, and of course a pre-release sneak peek of the film!!!  Stay tuned!

The Children's Summer Film Camp project, "Singularity" in association with Starting Arts of Santa Clara has officially begun production!  We have a great group of kids and our first day went great!  The camp is focused on teaching the youths all aspects of filmmaking, including acting, operating cameras, lighting, editing, and directing.  It's hands-on, and hard work!  My personal favorite comment of the first day was definitely from one of the young talented attendees, "We have to do this scene how many times?"  It's beautiful filmmaking at it's finest - we at Dawnrunner cannot wait for the premiere!

The Pre-Viz crew is extremely excited about the way the sets are shaping up!  Everything is coming together really quickly.  "The whole crew has taken a turn in the pilot's seat of the interior set!"  Director, James Fox said, "All the hard work the pre-viz team did on the designs have come to life.  It's a lot of fun watching their reactions to the set!"  The structure for the interior set are complete and detailing work starts early next week.  The exterior set is under construction and should be completed by mid point next week.  The crew is hopeful they'll have all sets completed by their deadline of July 1st.
