"Singularity" is an original children's short film spotlighting 6-12th grade acting and film production talent. This first-of-its-kind film is set to be produced as part of the Starting Arts summer film camp, taking place July 21-August 8, 2008 and hosted at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, California. Taught and produced by trained film professionals James Fox, Owner/Director, Dawnrunner Productions and Geoff Peck, Director of Photography, Dawnrunner Productions, the course will educate students in advanced film-making techniques and on-camera acting. The key production and shooting days of the film will take place during camp hours enabling hands-on instruction on a true-to-life film set. The program will culminate at a premiere gala event in September to showcase the completed film and celebrate the young actors & actresses.
